The Administrative Clerk is responsible for providing administrative and clerical services
in order to ensure effective and efficient operations.
Understanding of bookkeeping and record keeping practices, data entry in Caseware, QuickBooks and Simply Accounting, reconciliation of bank statements on a monthly basis, strong attention to detail, ability to identify and list queries in a clear, concise manner.
Complete understanding of all skills for positions junior to this post and…Detect problems and have the ability to come up with solutions, strong client communication, communicate queries with client and clear suspense items, strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications, ability to handle multiple responsibilities and deadlines, including but not limited to: monthly and quarterly bookkeeping, government remittance preparation, payroll administration including T4/T4A/T5018 and ROE preparation, GST preparation, WorkSafeBC preparation, ability to prepare
personal income tax returns.
Complete understanding of all skills for positions junior to this post and…Able to import client bookkeeping from Simply Accounting or QuickBooks and other software into Caseware, ability to prepare annual bookkeeping from client data, link all necessary documents for year-end file in Caseware, link T2, assist in preparing adjusting journal entries, ability to prepare personal income tax returns including business statements, rental statements, farming statements etc.
